Five fun ideas for homemade holiday candy
Christmas time is my favorite time of year. Its this time of year that i make Christmas candy. Making candy for gifts will show the people you love that you care and you wont go broke doing it! My favorite candy to make are peppermint reindeer lollipops. All you need are some sticks, a mold, some sugar, and some peppermint candy oil. Then of course there are sugar cookies which i make in all sorts of shapes sizes and colors. From holiday bells to Christmas trees. One of my absolute favorite treats for the season are popcorn balls, make some pop corn add some sugar butter and sprinkles and you have got a fun cheap gift. Another treat i make every year is chocolate Christmas tree pops. Its as simple as melting chocolate placing it in a mold with a candy stick and letting it cool. my kids love making them to! Last but not least I almost forgot to mention my grandmas specialty peanut brittle, so easy to make yet no one does. All you do is take some peanuts, peanut butter, and sugar mix them up and bake at 300 degrees for about 20 minutes and your done.
